Does your slow cooker bubble or boil?

Surely that's the point! It's supposed to make our life easier so that we can spend more time with our family and less time washing up. When my little girl comes home from school I want to take everything out of one pot and that's it.
No, that's it ... I have decided. AWT goes back tomorrow and MR comes home. It has been really frustrating having the SL but not being sure whether it is working properly.
I have some lovely recipes to try. I have just made meatballs in cider with red peppers on the hob but it will be nicer in the slow cooker because the meatballs will be softer.
Plus sometimes I end up making three dinners because my husband often works very late.
So how about you? Let me know what you decide0 -
Mine are a bit older than yours (17. 13 and 7) and at the moment they're eating me out of house and home!
Ok, I'm going to join you and get one too.....at least it will get HariboJunkie (my lovely sister) off my back!
I thought this board was supposed to be moneysaving!

Lamb shanks are beautiful. Especially to come home after a long cold winters day walking the dog!Sometimes you get what you deserve... :cool2:0

Mmmm, lamb shanks sound lovely. I love lamb.
Pink, I had to take hubby to pick his van up from the garage earlier so I just HAD to take a detour to Argos. I have my MR and it is bubbling away already. I am glad I changed the AWT - I can see already how much hotter the MR is.
For us, this is money saving because now we won't need days off work due to food poisoning
Thanks for everyone's help.0
