Removing linked connections

I couldn't find if this has been already answered but how do you remove someone that you had a shared financial connection with off your credit file?
Recently signed DH & I up to noodle, there is an anomaly with a previous address of DH that shows him living in 2006 in two places.
DH was very briefly married and divorced in the late 90's both young no children, we have no idea where is ex wife is now but do know she has also remarried and guess she also changed her name. On his credit report it shows an address in 2006 nr London with a financial link to his ex-wife source provided by the PRA group UK, His actually address at the time is also recorded source provided by capital one. how do we dispute the London address and break ties with his Ex wife.
Is it even worth it? he has a 4/5 credit score and a slightly above average score for our area. so it's done no harm.

The scores won't tell you whether any harm has been done or not. In fact, it doesn't you anything about anything.
Does your husband have any financial products with his ex? Accounts? Mortgages?
If not, he needs to contact all CRAs where it appears to file a notice of disassociation.0 -
No nothing it didn't get that far they were only married for a few months. we've only noticed this on noodle there is nothing on experian other than myself and his mother (now deceased) which are also on noodle, we have never had an issue obtaining credit. my worries was I found out PRA is a debt collection agency I didn't want to go poking the hornets nest as we have no proof anymore of his 2006 address in Cornwall other that maybe being able to get back statements from the bank , not even sure if that's possible0

Noddle. Noodle is an Asian foodstuff and no good for credit reporting.
It's difficult if there is a chance that it is a joint debt that has been passed to the DCA. If he's confident it's not, I would go ahead with the disassociation.0 -
The problem with financial "associations" is that in many, maybe most, cases they don't actually exist and the CRAs publish lies when saying that they do. I don't understand how they get away with this fraud, but when you've got the likes of the ICO "regulating" them, I suppose it's only to be expected.
Write to the CRAs demanding they remove the fraudulent links. If they refuse, take it up with the ICO, for all the good that will do - but you never know, they may have mended their ways.0
