Because my head is falling off...Why do mice have such small balls?
Because so few of them can dance.0 -
I usually just write 'Because my mother always said I was special'.
Well, she did.

p.s. it hasn't worked for me either.[FONT="]

If I really like the prize I enter these sorts of comps by saying "I don't deserve to win any more than anyone else, but I would love to."
It hasn't won me anything yet!:rotfl:
Me too, on both counts
But I feel so much better writing that than telling the whole world of FB / twitter my problems and how everything always goes wrong and, as a previous thread on the same topic once said, my newt has shingles.
I wish the companies wouldn't do it.Thanks to all posters :A0 -
I usually write something passive and non-specific.
But I haven't won a sausage in over 12 months so maybe this isn't the best way to go :laugh:0 -

I agree. I'd be quite happy if they did one of those forms like what Joules and the like do, instead of asking 'why do you deserve to win'
I don't mind when they have ones where it's a hashtag you have to put in the comments, or even an answer to a question, it's just some people go far too far and turn it into Jackanory. I'd love for a company doing a comp, just for once, say 'right, anybody padding their answers with sob stories or 'WOW what a lovely prize, etc, etc, etc', when all we require is an answer will be DQ' It won't happen, but it's wishful thinking.
Someone was complaining on FB that someone was stealing their competition entry by copying and pasting their 'wow' comment. It just goes to show how out of control FB comments on comps have got. There needs to be a shake up of the rules IMO.
