Eden Project / Cornwall in August

Hi
I'm considering visiting Cornwall & the Eden Project towards the end of August, just before the bank holiday.
I know it's going to be busy but someone is saying don't go as it will be too busy.
Can anyone advise as to how busy it will be ?
Both of my children are school age so unfortunately we can't visit out of school holidays.
Cheers
Jen

When it rains they shut the gates as it gets too busy.
Nobody can say how busy it'll be/get on any individual day in the future.
Best day to go is probably the driest/hottest as more people will be on a beach instead of indoors.0 -
Cornwall in August = Hell.
Hell on the roads, especially!0
