TSB 1% credit card payment issue

I applied and got the TSB credit card for its 1% cashback for a year offer. When I applied I went through the bit where you setup a DD to pay off the balance in full. However since getting the card and having my first statement I could see no reference to a DD setup. I decided to wait until the payment due date to see what would happen. And if it did not get paid would use the pay credit card button where you do a faster payment from the TSB current account. Today I had to use the faster payment option as no DD payment went out. Every thing seemed fine and I used the pay straightway option. But so far and several hours on the web page still shows the full amount on the CC balance including both last months statement and all the more recent purchases. And no reference to my payment- though it is shown and has gone out of my TSB current account part of the web site. Do I need to worry?

unless your statement specifically says that payment will be taken by DD then it won't.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

My experience is that faster payments to credit cards are received straightaway, but they don't visibly update, i.e. you can't see them on the credit card account, until the next day, or even the next working day. That's the case with all my credit cards.
If you check tomorrow, or maybe on Monday, the payment should show on the credit card account, backdated to today.0 -
