What's likely to happen next? They haven't replied so far but I've got a bad feeling that I'll find a CCJ in my credit report this time next year!
Who knows what will happen next - no crystal balls available on this site !
The Only service I can see the ppc offering is that they will place a ticket on a vehicle parked in your space and make a profit from it, whether it's a tenant's vehicle or not.
Do they operate a 'white list' of tenant's vehicles so they can park without being harassed or is it 'open season' for everyone and all (appears that way). If so, what is the purpose of having them ? If you came home and found a vehicle in your space, blocking it in for a day will be far more productive as a 'deterrent' than some silly invoice asking for money !
No ccj for you unless you ignore all the obvious and place head in sand......0 -

It's already been done

Read the full reply and you will see that the Department for Communities and Local Government have so far ignored it despite them saying they will reply in April ....... ???
It is time that we write to Theresa May advising her that the DCLG ARE USELESS0 -
One of us should start a new, more strongly worded petition, encourage all on this website to sign and also write to the newspapers asking them to feature it in any articles etc.0

:rotfl:Yes - strong words are definitely the way forward in dealing with this...0

You mean ....
Attention of Theresa May. Why does the Department for Communities and Local Government ignore the urgent need to regulate the private parking industry and why, does the government allow this scam0 -

Google Michael Green, Challenge the Fine.
He was all over national TV, radio and newspapers for a number of days about 18 months ago. Tens of thousands signed up to his website. Very little has come of it.
Let us see the draft of your petition. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They are if they're endorsed by enough people! Or even the right people - if these companies would be stupid enough to issue a PCN to an MP (which I think they probably would be), it would give him/her a FINANCIAL incentive to do something.
I am honestly baffled at the fact that these companies are still allowed to exist... I applaud you all for helping people to fight their corners though.0 -
OP , I think you should get your wife/girlfriend/husband etc to write to the PPC and ask them for the £100 they are in the process of collecting from you
or alternatively , pay them or go to court and if made to pay send them an invoice , followed by CC action for the money they have earned on your landSave a Rachael

Whilst we all agree they are stupid, they are cash driven and don't care who they ticket, for the scum, it's a numbers game.
Standard MP's prove constantly to be useless and the big shots are so well protected that a PPC would probably be seen off at gunpoint0 -
Last MP to fall foul of a PPC was former Speaker, Betty Boothroyd who was clamped at the infamous Haworth car park.
