Dri Buddi Elite

I have been using a dri buddy for a while and whilst it drys clothes nicely and warms up the flat whilst working it does have some limitations. Not least it only really fits 9 items plus undies. I find if try to fit on more they touch each other and don't dry properly.

I have seen a dri Buddi Elite on the Argos website, I can't see it anywhere else. I could not even see it on the JML site. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5469976.htm
does anyone have any experience of this new dri buddi?
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

I can't help you, but I'd recommend thinking about getting a proper dryer. We used to have a dri buddy, and as much as I liked seeing a giant blue condom with holes in it fill the house with condensation, a small tumble dryer was far more effective, much faster and didn't create a breeding ground for mould.

I have never found a problem with condensation or mould from mine. If area has ventilation is fine. Tumble dryer is not really practical. It would have to be a condenser type. But thanks for the hint.

I was being brutally honest, though. We kept a 3kg drier as a table in our bedroom and just ran the pipe out of the window as needed. It could dry a load in 60-90 mins, and a single load was much more clothes than you could hang on a dri buddy (since, as you've found out, you can barely use half the space on it).

Problem is I use the dri buddy in the day when I get "free" electricity due to solar panels (fitted by landlord so they get the feed in tariff). I am not always in whilst it is on. I would not want a pipe out of a window whilst I was out. Especially as I live in a ground floor flat. Hence why would have to be a condenser one. Though those seem to be more expensive from a quick search. I tend to do my washes now so that they are 9 items plus undies. Must ask JML how they fit 18 garments on to dry. I can see how you would fit 18 on when ironing them- though why you would need to iron 18 items after only drying 9 is a puzzle. Have looked at a few reviews on youtube and not one person shows them with 18 items on.

The reason I was interested in the newer JML is the design looks different to the existing one. Seems to be a couple of rails rather than the spokes of the existing one. Same idea of the tent over capturing warm air. Though not sure how well the rectangular shape would work and how the two levels work as it only shows one level in the photo. I do like the idea of the thing being on wheels.

Be interesting to see what people who have used the new device think, if there are any using this site.

As an alternative I can suggest a drying rack with a dehumidifier placed next to it. I live in a flat and its how I do mine.

Whilst I appreciate the suggestions not one of these actually answers my question.

Does anyone have any experience of this item? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5469976.htm

Then you have your answer: no-one has experience of the item you mention.
