Selling an Irish house in the UK

Options
Hey,

Completely new to this so all and any advice, much appreciated. I would like to sell a house in the ROI, but advertise it online so potential buyers in the UK might also find it.

Which websites are best/cheapest for fees? There are so many but I think I need a little help in deciphering which ones get the best results!

Thanks,

R

Do you mean UK sites? If I was searching for houses in Ireland I'd be looking at the Irish estate agency sites.

I've just looked on Right Move and as I expected ROI is not an option when searching.I'd imagine the other big sites will be the same, so it's probably a non-starter to even try to advertise on them. As david says, Irish sites are where people who are interested in property in ROI will be looking.

Surely anyone looking for a house in Ireland would look on an Irish website. its not as if someone looking for a house in say Leeds will see one in Dublin and say "oh look this is better value lets buy that instead"

So just find a popular Irish housing website.

There is an Irish version of RM

On the UK site if you search for an Irish place name, Wicklow for example, above the suggestions in the UK it offers a link to their international site.

OP would need to check out agents in Ireland so see what internet presence they have.
