Bus Lane stung twice

Am I right to challenge. My daughter got into the lane about 10-15 metres too early to turn into car park. Photos show no traffic and she was not trying to gain any advantage by doing this.

Here is my appeal...do I stand a chance ?

I have been charged with driving in the same bus lane in two separate occasions within a 1-week period, however, I believe these are unjust fines due to several reasons.

Firstly, as is evident in both photos, I was not in this bus lane to overtake or avoid traffic, but rather I was changing lanes in order to go to the Cattle Market Car Park slightly further down this road, for which you have to be in the left hand lane to enter.

Secondly, the bus lane is not clearly marked. This bus lane stated that it was a bus lane at the start, but after the bus stop no such signage was present. Additionally, this bus lane does not have sign posts throughout, but only at the start and the end, which I believe makes it against regulation.

Thirdly, on neither occasion was I in the bus lane for more than 20 metres before the end, which again I believe is required for the fine to be justified.

Finally, this bus lane violates the regulation that it must be wider than 4 metres in order to allow room for cyclists, which further adds to the lack of clarity regarding this bus lane, as the combination of the width, colour, and lack of signage, make it rather unclear.

This combination of the bus lane contradicting regulation, and the insufficient signage which lead to my mistakes, mean these fines should be retracted.

It is worth getting the letter template from this website and challenging the PCN
as I have just got one overturned. I did notice they always do not admit to issuing incorrectly
as I quote from the letter.
'Whilst I am satisfied that a contravention occurred and the Penalty Charge Notice was issued, I am willing to exercise discretion and withdraw the charge on this occasion'
The bus lane sign was bent and not visible so I got it overturned but why can't they admit they were wrong. Still little victories so challenge it and take photographs.
