I have some videos on my media player, which I put on ages ago, which are .avi. I want to put some more videos on the same device, so I converted these from .mov to .avi, and put them on the player. They won't play. I used Format Factory to convert them. I even tried .mp4, and that doesn't work. How can I work out what settings the other videos are, and convert the new ones to the same format/properties?

There are various forms of avi. When I convert to watch on a player I usually use wmv format. If not I use VLC player or Media Player Classic which both play virtually anything. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.
