Anybody can issue a CCJ against anybody else - almost zero evidence is needed. Just because a CCJ is issued does not mean the money is owed.
You will not be made to pay it if the claimant can't prove you owe it, but you have to go through the correct procedure of defending against it (which is done online - at least initially) or else the case will be found in favour of the claimant. by default - such as in the event you offer no defense at all.0 -
Hi there , I know this is an old thread but is there any chance of getting some help. My girlfriend went to Kavos a few years ago , ended up too drunk next thing she knows she’s woke up in hospital with a drip on her arm. She gets a medical bill of about 800 euros , she never had insurance but this company Eventus plus had just sent her a letter saying £1,787 is owed. Can you help please0

You are the victim of a scam. I had a similar experience and found no support, you could try the British Consular website but the Greeks will charge you if you attempt to enter the country again.0

The bars in cavos will spot a vulnerable tourist, normally male teenager, spike their drinks then get a back hander from The medical centre who force untested treatments on the unconcsious victim. There is no support from the British consulate and you won't get help from the greeks. You could engage a lawyer to defend it, I have no knowledge it that would be succesful0
