Need van insurance but cheaper after bought new house?

I'm buying a van this week and at the moment I'm under multicar policy with admiral but they don't insure vans so will have to get my own separate.
The trouble is I was hoping to renew properly when the multi policy ran out in November as I'm moving house next month and as I'll own my own house/ live in a different area there's a difference of £400 on the van insurance between my address now to when I move!
The obvious answer would be to not buy until I move but I need it to move my stuff!
Anyone have any solution or suggestion?

When you do move and notify the insurer then (hopefully!) this will result in a reduction in the premium for the remainder of the insurance year.0

Hire a van to move, then buy a van when you have?
Or, I don't know, why not just say f**k it, and don't bother with insurance?0 -
Why not keep the van sorned until the day of the move and then insure at the new address and move your stuff?0

Or buy nearer the time and arrange to pick it up on moving day, insured to your new address?
Or just insure it to your current address and update with insurers, cancelling and re-insuring if it works out cheaper.0 -
Thanks for those who tried to answer helpfully, was just hoping I'd missed something.0
