Has anyone else experienced defaults reported by Callcredit that are inaccurate and not reported by Experian?

Are they 100% false or just not reported by Experian ? Have you checked Equifax / ClearScore ?

Logging defaults that did not happen as in the notices were never served in the first instance. Example, Barclaycard register a default dated the same day you contact them to settle your account in full. They send you to the person they sold the debt to pay and this is the first time you hear about the fact they have sold the debt! (Payments are three months late, you have been corresponding with them by phone while this is happening). The company the y send you to subsequently take the payment and record it as SF not S as agreed. When you ask both Barclaycard and a.n.other company for written proof of a default notice the give you the runaround. The notice should be sent by registered post and therefore they have to provide you with evidence said notice was signed for when it was received. I have three instances of this now across mine, and my partner's accounts. two from Barclaycard and one from Cabot. Most interestingly these are only on the Callcredit report and not on the Experian reports in every instance.

Default notices don't need to be sent by registered post.

The difference between the CRAs is simply down to who reports to who.

If this was correct, anyone who doesn't repay their debts could just refuse to sign for the registered post, and never get a default applied to their credit files.
