Either use one of the excellent suggestions above, or inform the ISP that they are talking out of their mailchimps as there is no such law and you demand the limit lifted or you will take your business elsewhere !!

Dear 'our kid'
There are rate limiters monitoring the number sent per hour. Average per client for all FOL customers approx 8-10 per hour. So the service is set to monitor and watch those sending more as this - as its a marker for bulk mailing.
If you are bulk mailing you need to follow the law which is why we recommend mailchimp. 3 benefits:- It keeps you within the law - http://www.lawdonut.co.uk/law/sales-and-marketing/marketing-and-advertising/your-email-marketing-and-anti-spam-law
- reduces your personal spam
- allows you to mail bigger lists without issue
A distribution list must have a opt-out. Receiving servers eg AOL look for this in bulk sends. If its not present they may add a higher spam weighting. If you then use the same email for personal email, the same receiving eg AOL might be less likely to deliver your normal message. Effectively tarred by the same bush.

Since this is a newsletter to members of a club, it is not unsolicited commercial email and laws on spam do not apply. Further, it's not the ISP's job to enforce them anyway. However, it seems unlikely any progress will be made with the ISP, they have their policy and they are sticking to it, even though it's irrelevant in the circumstances described.

1./ You can do 42 emails manually if you have to - from Gmail.com. First time you might copy and paste each email separately. It will only take 20 minutes.
Gmail also allows you to set up groups and to my knowledge gmail will easily allow 42 names in a group. (I think they allow several hundred names to a group. ) You can then Mass Mail safely from within Gmail with guaranteed results of delivery.
2./ Try Mailchimp - it is really that easy.0 -
