Is there any Sat Nav out there that will take the back way to where I want to go? like Manchester to London for example..

I've used a moped ..... after 5 miles everything in my body was numb from the vibration of the tyres on the roads..... nobody would go much further on one by choice....

Forget Manchester to London .... just memorise a map of your local area.

Yet another school holiday thread... Perhaps they should spend a bit more time on geography lessons to learn what country Manchester and London are in.

So which ones do you think the OP is referring to that would be suitable for travelling between by moped?

Sure, the U.S. for example. Its only a few thousand Miles between the two, not sure a moped has that capability in a lifetime, not least for one journey. ;)

I once rode from North Yorks to the South of France (& back again) on a Honda 70

Whilst on slightly bigger bikes, we met a bunch of guys in Portugal last month, they'd travelled from Nottingham (via Calais) on mopeds.
They we're planning on heading up to Santander to catch the ferry back to Portsmouth and then head home.

Lots of people do very long distances on mopeds.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

I could bicycle ride to France and back if using a ferry. Surprisingly the Ferry does most of the work.

No, in my case the ferry did 22 miles, the Honda Cub a couple of thousand.
The guys in Portugal reckoned they manage 3500 miles on that trip

    Back to the OP

The answer is yes, most gps units and apps are configurable to a degree.
Specific motorcycle ones even more so, I have a Tomtom Rider 400 that will allow the upload of specific routes or let it pick a minor road route between two points, you can even configure how minor.
