Building Insurance - would I get cover?

I am currently in the process of buying a detached house. The vendor is building her new house on the plot next door, which used to be the garden of 'my' house. Because she (the vendor) owned both plots at the time when works began, there is no party wall agreement.
The build is now almost complete, and my concern is that the work, which included excavation right up to the side of 'my' house will have affected the foundations in ways which are not yet apparent, and may not be for some time.
My question is, can I get some kind of insurance put in place for this? Would standard building insurance cover it?
Thanks in advance!

So you haven't bought it yet?currently in the process
Don't think the current owner can have a party wall agreement with herself?
The new house will have needed PP and will no doubt be visited at every stage by building control. I think you're worrying unnecessarily.
When (if ) you buy it, just insure it as normal. Planting unfounded doubts in insurance folks minds is not a good idea.0
