Lite credit check?

I am looking at applying for a lease car through my company & have been told they undertake a light credit check, what does this mean & if I have a poor credit score would I still be declined?!

Why not ask them what a lite/light credit check is?
Whether you will be accepted depends on your credit history and their criteria.0 -

But the credit score isn't taken into account as no 1 sees it.0
