RENAULT ESPACE 7 seater MPG

Hello
Does anyone own a Renault Espace 1.9 DCI, 7 seater, diesel, I shall be buying one in the next few days from a trader.
I need the space and 7 seats. I will be going about 40-50 miles each day. I wanted to know the MPG these cars do so I can work out my daily costs. A look on the web tells me they do 35-40 mpg but, surely thats for a new car. Mine will be a 2005.

The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.
I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest. I dont want to profit from someone's misery.
