I think it was here I seen a link to a website for comparing quotes, does anyone know?
I want to know what would be reasonable for a ceiling painted in 18ftx12ft kitchen plus skirting and 4 doors.

Probably a day to a day and a halves work. Allow around £250 for labour plus materials. There maybe VAT on that as well if you elect to use someone who is VAT registered.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

That was roughly what I would have thought which was why I checked here, just had a quote 3 times that, pretty sure he's more handyman than painter as well:(Probably a day to a day and a halves work. Totally unreasonable.
We pay £220-240 for a days work which will get an entire room painted (with a very good P&D).
Get some local recommendations and make sure you use a proper decorator (rather than a general handyman).Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
