Hi, me and my girlfriend are first time buyers and we're using one of the Alexander James mortgage adviser, long story short he asked us to both sign up on CheckMyFile to check our credit score, once we sign up he also asked us to send him our login in details.
(We've never met this man in person before we've only spoke on the phone)
Is any mortgage adviser meant to ask us for our log in details?

As check my file doesn't provide the live Experian data we need, it's of dubious value. I'd rather have the actual CRA file itself.
Plenty of people provide logins to us when we would really just like them to save a pdf of their credit file and email it to us, but they appear completely unable to do so.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct.
