Hi all,
Just a quick one, I'm trying to take advantage of the current account switch bonuses. I don't want to switch my main account so I've opened a HSBC account in order to switch to the Co-op account and get the £150. I was just wondering do I need to wait a certain amount of time before switching or can I just switch as soon as the HSBC account is up and running?

You can switch as soon as you have a sort code and account number for the sacrificial HSBC account. No need to wait for debit card and PIN. You'll need to set up 4 DDs on the HSBC account before initiating the switch, though. None need to actually pay out before the switch date.0
