Freedom pop stealing money from me

Originally they started taking 2 lots of money from me for 1 sim that was offering 'free' Talk, Text and Data but you had to downgrade before the trial period ended.

I downgraded, but they still took 2 lots of £8.99. I messaged them on Facebook and they refunded me both amounts. I told them to cancel my sim card as I no longer trust them but they insisted I had 2.

After telling them I didn't many times, they agreed it was a system error and that they would make sure everything is cancelled.

I have just noticed 4 months later they are still taking £8.99 a month from me, only the 1 but it still so far amounts to £35.96.

I contacted my bank, and they have sent them a notice of cancellation?

I have been trying to contact freedom pop for a week now and I still am not getting any response, its like they are actually ignoring me.

Who do I contact regarding this? Trading Standards or OFCOM?

Kind regards

Matt

I managed to find a number on the internet for them, to be honest there was a major communication issue as I could hardly understand what she was saying, but the gist of it was that my account hadn't been cancelled so I was still liable for the charges.

I told her I had proof that they told me it was cancelled, so she said she would downgrade my account... told her I didn't want it downgraded that i just wanted it cancelled.

She kept repeating herself that it was my fault for not cancelling.. got very annoying.

In the end she said "I've given you a £35.96 refund, have a good day" and hung up on me.

Terrible customer service, would NOT recommend.

This is the network that can't even provide a simple tariff sheet detailing its offers.

    Best completely avoided.
