Ironed logo on t-shirt

Master tru has just ironed his t-shirt, it's light blue with a dark blue logo. He ironed straight over the logo and it's now smudged :rolleyes: Is there any way of getting the smudged bit off? The logo feels slightly rubbery but I'm not sure what it's made of
Brand new t-shirt - typical :rolleyes:

I think it's unlikely that you'll be able to do much with it - I couldn't find anything useful on google either. ( I hope that someone can prove me wrong though
)
BTW - did you know that you're advised not to use fabric conditioner on things with logos like that because it helps break them up (rot them down) that much faster!Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Thanks Squeaks

I've just had a thought - if the logo can be smudged by the heat, then maybe the heat will unsmudge it too :think: so I'm going to try ironing it with a bit of greaseproof paper on it, same as the remedy for candle wax on carpet.
He's worn the t-shirt to college so he can't be that bothered by it but I will whip it off him when he gets home and let you know how I get on

Erm... isn't it usually brown paper - so that it can absorb stuff?Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Done it

I tried it dry first but it didn't work. I poured cold water on, laid the paper bag on then pressed with the iron on the hottest setting. It took ages, only a little bit came off each time :rolleyes: I had to keep wetting the t-shirt, it dried out really fast, also I scraped the material a couple of times with the back of a knife, this loosened the smudge a bit. I finished it off with a Ladyshave :rotfl: The scraping left it a bit bobbly and I couldn't find my clothes shaver
There's still a tiny bit left but it's so close to the logo that I thought I might end up smudging it again so I left it alone, you can only see it up close though.
Yay me :TBulletproof0 -
yay you indeed!
