A warning to potential savers with this bank.
I put money into their Instant Access Account. They should rename it 'No Access'.
I noticed that my linked account had not been set up. I completed an online form to ask for it to be set up correctly as I wanted to transfer money out of my account. After over a week: no linked account was set up and there was no response to my request, not even an acknowledgement.
I called to find out how to close the account. I was told I had to write in.
I wrote a letter, sent with a 1st class stamp, asking for my account to be closed and providing the details of the bank account the money should be sent to.
After over a week: no money in my account and no response to my letter, not even an email acknowledgement.
I emailed Customer Services and submitted a complaint, saying to both that I would contact the Financial Ombudsman if the money was not in my account by the end of the week. So far nothing.....
