Tax credits final award question

Hi.
Last year my tax credits were stopped in September when one of my children finished school. We have completed this years claim and are now receiving more per month than we received in the months we were paid last year. (Our predicted income based on last years) I believe we were underpaid by a largish amount. We have received our award for this year but heard nothing about adjusting last years payments.
Has anyone else had a similar situation or know when I should hear something?
