Hotel Payment

in Overseas holidays & travel planning
I am due to go to Turkey next week and the hotel is payment on arrival.
Am I better to withdraw cash and exchange it in the UK, or should I pay on a debit card at the hotel?
Also, is it best to pay in euros or turkish lira if I do pay by cash?
Not sure what to do for the best. Any advice would be great!

    Revolut Apply now topping up with a nominal amount and request a physical card immediately. If less than seven days before you travel, request an emergency card.
    You can use the emergency card to withdraw Lira in Turkey. The normal card, if it arrives on time, can be used to pay...in Lira.

    I travel a week today (Wed 3rd Aug) and do not have time to get a card as they normally take 7-10 days.
