Hello -
I have been receiving income related ESA, mortgage relief payments and PIP for a health condition.
Do these need to be declared on a tax return form?
Thankyou - Timothy

Why would you be filling in a tax return form if you're on disability benefits? I suspect the best course of action is to speak directly to HMRC or go on their website.0

No as they are not taxable.0 -
Thank you.
I also received a backdated income ESA and PIP payment as a lump sum. This came to around £2000 in total.
I assume the same tax position for these - ie. they don't need to be declared on the tax return?0 -
