I've also got a spare perfume voucher going to the first taker...

All I ask in return is that all of you getting these perfume bargains use them sparingly (the moneysaving way! :D ) as I am allergic to the stuff and if I end up sat near to someone on a train or in the cinema/pub/restarant and they have livberally applied the stuff, it makes me quite ill... less is more!! ;)

So it's not only me then? Most perfumes trigger really bad migranes with me and make me feel sick. Poor DH is not allowed to wear aftershave. It's worse when your on a plane, so many people spray before landing to freshen up  . In most provinces in Canada perfume is now banned from lots of work places and schools because of allergies.

Nice to find a fellow sufferer - well, not nice that you also suffer, but you know what I mean... Usually it makes me cough and sneeze to start with, and then after a while I get the migraine... sometimes I have even been sick. Apparently the average perfume contains around 200 chemicals, and some of these can cross the blood-brain barrier and trigger migraines in those of us that are susceptible. Apparently, some of the chemicals are so toxic that if they are used in a work enviromnent, eg a car workshop, they have to be labelled as such, harmful if inhaled/only use in a well ventilated area etc, and yet manufacturers are allowed to put them in perfumes!

Planes are indeed the worst! Also everyone sprays themselves with duty free testers before they get on... then it all gets recirculated in the air con... I usually start my holidays with a migraine. :( At least on a train you can move seats, on a plane you are stuck there!

rant over... :D the perfume voucher has been taken by the way!

    Hi
Can I ask what 6 items you managed to get for £50 as I cannot find anything under £25!!

Also how did you get the extra 1500 points?

    Thank you!!:T
I bought shampoo, conditioner (for afro hair, though mine isn't... ) hand cream and hand wash, 1500 points if you spend £50 and 500 points for every 2 items (I bought 6, so 1500).
The only trouble is my cupboards are bursting and I now have over £400 in points to spend and no idea what I will ever spend them on. I just love the game of squeezing as many points out of an order as poss. I think I need help, my DH would kill me if he knew what I had spent today:eek: .
I keep promising I will do a boot sale...
I'm also beginning to feel I should have a minder if I leave the house with my advantage card!!

Agent_C, you know, I was also allergic, as I thought, to the perfume. I could not live for the past three!!! years without my nose spray and medicine. And two month ago I happened to be at the Duty Free where I tried so many perfumes:o (I was looking for a present for my mum), and I did not sneeze even once. After that I spent 3 hours in a plane with my jacket sprayed all over with the stuff and again did not sneeze. Since than I started to use it every day (although in much smaller amount) and realised that it actually cured me:j I know, it may sounds like a dream, but beleive me I'm not using now any medicine at all!!! Though I admit if I smell cheap stuff from somebody in the tube, it makes me sick and sneeze
And you can always try pure perfume, as it contains less chemical ingridients.
