Yep pretty much ;) Easiest if you have a basket full of other stuff to hide it in, have it near the bottom else they might notice it's scanned as £0.00 and leave it aside till they've scanned the make up they expect to find ;)

If caught out, do the ol' "Oh dear... i had some eyeliner and mascara..! These baskets need smaller holes, it must've fallen out... never mind leave it aside and i'll come back later"... then scuttle off and plot with another SA in mind ;) Or did as Sally said, get one MF item if you're after something and feign innocence to it not being free with one item instead of £15 spend if questioned.

Good luck! They'll probably been keen to get rid tho, they have more now than they did when the original promo offer was out *slaps forehead*

I redeemed my No7 voucher today for one of the nail buffer kits so I was very happy with that. Will add it to my friends xmas hamper. Thanks for the tip.

FFG, pop in and try again, you never know your luck. I picked a lovley male student and he just scanned it no questions asked. I didn't even take anything else to the till just the nail kit and redeemed it for the voucher. No harm in trying again.

Thanks to the OP- I got 3 No7 nail buffer kits for £3 + no 7 vchr - OM, SA and I were all very impressed!

Now have £101 odd on my AC, but was NOT impressed by the way the second SA chose to shout the amount out loud so the entire queue, shop and street could hear.

Tried to convince OM that he would like the digital photo frame but he is unsure. As he takes months to reach a decision about anything they will probably be out of stock or full price.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • Many thanks boiler-man, I picked up three of the nail buffer kits and used my No7 voucher today.

Keep an eye on your voucher slip as today I only had the usual points instead of the 10 points per £1, only noticed when I got home. Phoned up Boots and the nice lady gave me 500 points !

Great start to my Christmas shopping

Sorry to seem dumb but does the sign actually say the box is free with a £15 spend on Max Factor, or just `free with a spend over £15` :o

I'll probably be spending over £15 in Boots soon (armed with my piggy vouchers)

I hope that makes sence?

Isn't there a minimum spend of £20 to qualify for the 10 points per £? I'm sure thats what I read in the window but I could be wrong.

The sign is one the store has printed on a single A4 sheet, unfortunately it does mention specifically £15 of Max Factor products, but if you're getting lots of other stuff anyway then if questioned you can just feign innocence with thinking it was £15 on anything... good luck :T *mental note, order piggy vouchers before xmas*
