Hi,
I've moved into a house where there used to be a washing machine and dish washer.
I only have a washing machine and want to put a plug on the other outlet.
I don't know the name of the thing I need but looks like the yellow thing in this link:
http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Double-Nozzle-Accessory-40mm/p/424905
Can I buy it, or do I have to buy the whole thing?
Thanks!

I would unscrew the one you want to block, give it a clean and dry, put some silicone sealant in the end. Leave to set overnight and refit ☺0

When we disconnect the dishwasher or the washing machine, we put some cling film or a plastic bag over the end where the drain hose connects to, and fix it firmly in place with some strong tape. Ensure the tape is tight and goes over onto the plastic nozzle.0

Mash... may Ish.... May I point push that a sherry bottle cork, or the finesht scoch ... Scotch Malt corksh fit perfectly (but not wine) .... Albeit cheaper to buy a plastic gishmo from EBay, corksh are much more rewarding.
I always have several to hand, which may surprise many of you. They tend to fit tighter, too.0 -
When mine was fitted there was a solid rubber washer between the 40mm pipe and the waste pipe which blocks the inlet in the join that can be unscrewed.0
