With effect from 5th September PO Home Phone prices are increasing yet again.
Line rental increasing from £16 pm to £16.99 pm
Line rental saver going up from £168 to £179.88
UK National & Local Calls (Evening) increasing from 1p per minute to 10p!
Full details of other changes are here
When I first moved to PO Home Phone in October 2014 I paid £120 for the Line Rental Saver, the next year it had gone up to £144 per year, now it's shooting up to £179.88 so that's an increase of nearly 50% in 2 years
How on earth can they justify that....

Maybe open reach prices are increasing ?0
-
£8.53 is what the PO pay Openreach per month, and it goes down in real terms year on year, Andy PK you need to look else where for why the PO have raised prices by nearly 50% in 2 years0
-
Because everyone be else has?
I know it's a joke. But still cheaper than BT, sky etc0 -
Utility Warehouse currently charge £16.40 a month for line rental, including evening and weekend 01/02/03 calls, with no minimum term, and no joining fee.0

For most people, 'Evening and Weekend' is the wrong call plan to be on and yet is usually the most prominent of the offerings.0

MSE have finally done an article about this some two weeks after you highlighted it!0
