Hi
I had a Lloyds credit card back in 1991 - I actually worked for part of the group - I remember it had some from of PPI - is it too late (or perhaps inappropriate) to make some form of claim?
Cheers

Well you would have to have some back up and proof of a miss sale.
If you cant even remember if you had PPI or something similar how are you going to remember that it in what way it was miss sold.
And if you have no proof and they have none. (which is unlikely after all these years ) .. Brick wall.
.........make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
If you can show the insurance was mis-sold to you then the fact that you worked for Lloyds Banking Group at the time shouldn't come into it.I had a Lloyds credit card back in 1991 - I actually worked for part of the group - I remember it had some from of PPI - is it too late (or perhaps inappropriate) to make some form of claim?
Two things to consider;
One is that PPI on credit cards is only paid when there is money outstanding . So if you regularly paid off the balance each month you won't have paid any PPI.
Second is that 1992 is 24 years ago and if the account has been closed for that length of time there is unlikely now to be any record of it. Only if you can present documentation from your own archive (statements etc) do you realistically stand any chance of a refund.0 -
lol - I kinda expected these replies - I was young and paperwork was not high on my agenda so I have no 'proof' I was really wondering if it was worthwhile at just 'taking a shot at it' But I did pay off my account each month so perhaps I never paid a premium0
