Who's the DD originator? Is it Halifax for one of their credit cards?
Yes, they are showing in the Co-Op account under planned payments (including the Halifax one).
The credit card in question is a Halifax Clarity Card so one of their own.0 -

I'd be more worried about the upcoming Clarity payment, if indeed one is due to be collected? As such, I'd probably pay manually the working day before the DD collection date. If money is tight, and/or you have a large balance on there, maybe just make the minimum payment this way.0 -

Thanks - yes, the Clarity payment should have been collected in early September and would have been had I not switched. Is the Direct Debit guarantee not supposed to protect switchers from this though?0 -

In your case, the Co-op are entirely responsible for correcting errors, reimbursing any costs incurred, and correcting/removing (with the help of Halifax here) any 'black marks' on your credit files.0
