I know there is a massive housing shortage but I've looked at my previous bids on all the disabled flats and they all have goine to band a.. I'm scared I'm going to be forced to take anouther flat unsuitable for my disabilites.. I have 3 bids to use every 3 months but there are so few disabled flats availavle.. it all feels so hopeless. Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0

People on here are excellent, but I agree with the advice to go to Shelter.
It will be easier to sit down with someone face to face as you're confused and distressed.
If you're there in person, they may also be able to help you practically, for instance by making any calls necessary.
Whether you choose shelter or CAB (and I'd opt for Shelter, because they are a sister organisation to CAB and CAB often refer more complex housing cases to them anyway) please be patient with the waiting times.
Both agencies experience high demand for their services, and you'll have to wait a long time to be seen or answered whether you call or visit.
I'd recommend you visit in person, take a book and a drink and snack, and don't be put off by the queue or give up. The help you get eventually should be worth the wait.
