Possibly a bug, there were about 5 who were sick so had to stop the comp for a few minutes so they got some air and swopped some participants in the circumstances.0

I had a look up of Llangollen, sounds a great place. I'd be out there looking at the archaeology, looks very interesting.
Sorry to hear about the pukers. Poor kids.
Hope you enjoy pay day. Always a nice feeling!" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hi all, had a lovely weekend with my best friend and her husband a bit of a delicate head on Sunday but nothing major as I needed to be ready for a competition yesterday. We took friends to Llangollen and had a lovely walk and light meal in the pub next to the river. Massive difference in weather yesterday when I drove over the hill it was sleet and snow whereas Saturday it was beautiful sunshine.
Not much happening to debt, nothing extra to throw at computer payment and need to pay some extra money on overdraft and credit card this month.
I finally received the main part of my contract today for 2 days work then have a meeting with the lady who runs the other part of my role on Friday so will sort that out and then will sign both when I go down to Cardiff for a team meeting on Thursday next week.
I have worked out that I should get a good pay packet from second job in December due to all the hours I've worked, I still have a very long day on Saturday and a competition next week to add plus mileage.
In my other job my managers have agreed to pay me a higher basic rate rather than a separate rate for training as I'm not getting the hours I should and I'm doing extras such as writing policies and procedures for them.
I've no idea when I'm going Xmas shopping for the kids, I will have to do a bit this Friday maybe when I get paid from second job.

I'm really glad you will get a higher basic pay. I know, Christmas is sneaking up now isn't it." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Phew long days on the work front, yesterday I was in mid-Wales for a competition so a long drive but another 12 hours to add to the timesheet for the month. It will continue to be busy this week with a trip to Cardiff for a meeting on Wednesday/Thursday, my mum is coming down with me and will go shopping whilst I'm in the meeting.
I got a bit bored waiting for cashback to be payable so I have paid a bit off the computer, with the regular payment going out tomorrow this will take me under £400. Slowly getting there with this one, hope to get rid of it early next year.
Had a heated discussion with dh about finances again, same old thing really he is sick of not having any money, I say we have money but it needs to be budgeted and we never get ahead because we go over it. I did remind him about all the things we've done and what we are doing next year plus the overpayments on the computer. He did say he is worried that he won't have a job the full time remaining on our mortgage, his work has about 15 years left to excavate, so I said rather that stick our heads in the sand that we need to tightened our belts for a bit to get the debt down, overpay on the mortgage whilst still enjoying ourselves in a planned and frugal way. One day it might actually sink in!!
Might go and look if I can find any extra pennies to make another little payment, also need to do an invoice for dh for some work he has done on a website and that can be put on the debt too.

All that driving must be very draining. Sorry DH is struggling to see the bigger picture at the moment. So hard to make progress isn't it when you are trying to go one way and they another." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

A rare chance to post whilst at work, sshhhhhh, direct debit for computer went out today but they only took the difference between what I paid yesterday and the normal monthly amount so I have made an extra payment just now. With the interest saved it brings the balance down to £377.62 :T
Hubby was in a better frame of mind this morning and we will do a shopping list and menu tonight ready to go shopping tomorrow evening, we still have a lot in so should be a fairly low spend.
Doing some extra hours for both jobs this week which will be tiring but well worth the extra pay just before Xmas.
House looking like a bomb site, need to get kids to help although dd did a great job on her room yesterday.
Feeling quite tired but very optimistic about getting another debt ticked off.

Morning, currently posting from my sick bed as full off cold which my parents very kindly passed on! It's been a manic week and after the long trip to Cardiff, an early start for my other job and then a late shift too plus working a few hours yesterday morning for second job it's probably unsurprising that I'm shattered.
Everything will calm down now as schools don't need anything until after Xmas and no more competitions for a few weeks so a chance to catch up with paperwork and relax a bit.
In good news I've signed my contract for second job which is 3 days a week lots of exciting stuff happening in the new year which I will spend the next couple of weeks preparing for, I submitted my timesheet and will be a good pay day.
We are away in the Lake District next weekend for dh run, his mate has said not to worry about paying our share of cottage until January which is a great help but need to be keep pennies aside for food and fuel. After mortgage has been paid I can buy kids presents, going to be a late shop this year.
I don't think I'm going to get the skip before Xmas now and need to sit down with dh when I feel better to look at our plans for the year and how we're going to achieve them.
Not an exciting post sorry but I'm pleased overall with the progress over the last few months.

Managed to transfer some pots of survey money and paid off another bit of the computer, now down to £360, annoyingly I have one survey sites that is 10p away from redemption of £25 and no sign of a survey.
Home this evening as still unwell and just picked up ds from school who has been sick, it's not like him to be poorly so early night for all.

Poor DS hope he's better soon. Well done for keeping on with the computer pay offs. It will be gone in no time." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
