I wish I knew what to say. Your situation sounds so stressful and I literally don't have a single word of advice to offer. All I can do is remind you that you're a fabulous woman doing the best that you can. I'm in no way trying to offer any advice or opinion - just want to say that I'm sure that you know deep down whether it is worth this fight.
I'm lucky in that I can make ends meet but I'm more than able to remember the stress and pain of wondering where my next fiver was coming from and who wasn't going to get paid this month. It's a horrible, hard place to be and easy to fall onto that downwards spiral. I don't want you to hit rock bottom at all - you deserve way better than that.
Lots of love to you and yours Bob - send me a message if there's anything at all I can do in any small way.

Exactly what CCL says Bob - I am so sorry that things are so awful. I hope with every fibre of my being that things pick up for you - you certainly don't deserve the hand you've been dealt at the moment xLet’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭0 -

Bob, this may be a stretch but is there a chance you can team up with similar businesses locally and create a blacklist of people who have caused issues?
As to YouTube, it is difficult to get noticed on such a saturated platform and depending on your business may not be appropriate. Do you have an Instagram account? It might be worth putting beautiful pictures on there with a LOT of hashtags, spending some time commenting on celebrity accounts and asking people to check out your page. Annoying spam, yes, but it does work.
I don't know if this is something feasible to your business right now but is it possible that you could reach out to local Instagram or YouTube "celebrities" who are still on the smaller side (20-50k followers) and offer your venue for one night for free, in return for a mention on their social media? It could be quite helpful to you but again I don't know if it will work for your business model and will certainly not bring a short term cash injection.Debt Totals July 2019::

Hi Cat
Its fine, Im grateful just to have this diary to be honest as a means of trying to order my thoughts. I honestly cant express to anyone in real life quite how all consuming it is, and I know that my silence has led to the breakdown of relationships, but it annoys me too, if people who are supposed to care about me cant put 2 and 2 together, must I really explain why I cant do the things I once could? Or could they possibly guess at the reason given the fact they know what is going on?
I just came home to discover another of my DDs had bounced, which is a bad one to bounce. I will have to face up to calling the bank and seeing if they would consider allowing me to extend my overdraft. They've not done it in 5 years so might be feeling generous:rotfl:
You say that about me knowing whether to call time on things but I actually dont know and thats the hardest thing. Im not sure if I can get this over properly, but I find I go for a few days in a funk, and try my hardest to just keep going. Then I will get a bit of business and it picks me up enough to start trying again on all the social stuff. And so it goes on.
It is exhausting fighting yourself constantly, the clever money is on quitting, but the part of me that believes in the concept and the fact that things take time to get going wont let go.
What I am scared of is the prospect that if things get so bad, then I wont have a choice left.
I wish sometimes that it would just fail spectacularly and then I'd have to stop.
But it doesnt. It fails just enough to keep my hopes up. And thats harder still. The gambler who believes if they just put in another £5 that jackpot will pay out.
Thanks so much for being here.

Silverqueen What a good suggestion on a blacklist. I love it:T
I do have instagram, twitter and facebook. The hours that goes into it! I like the idea of the cheeky ask for a bit of publicity." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
