    Details can be found here:
    https://www.plus.net/help/2016-pricing-changes-new/

Among the highlights, deals with inclusive calls will include calls to mobile numbers starting 071-075 and 077-079 in addition to the present arrangement that currently includes calls to geographic numbers starting 01 and 02 and non-geographic numbers starting 03.

Changes made by Ofcom in the last few years mean that mobile numbers should no longer cost any more to call than geographic numbers starting 01 and 02 and non-geographic numbers starting 03. Some providers have been slow to action this.

It looks like inclusive calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers will also continue, but this arrangement is becoming increasing unnecessary and increasingly harder to justify.

Phoned Plusnet to tell them i wish to leave because of the price increase and go to BT. They said they had to put the cancellation in place, I checked to ensure it would not affect my joining BT and they said NO, they lied!!!!
They have placed a stop on my line!!!! Now i can't get the BT offer!!!

“We can see from your details that you've already placed an order to stop your current service. In order for us to bring you to BT and keep your number, you must cancel that request with your current service provider.
Please contact your service provide and arrange for the stop request to be cancelled. Once this is done, come back and continue to place your order with BT.
If you don't wish to contact your service provide and are happy to take a new Telephone number please call us on xxxxxxxxxxx”
  • Moving my phone and b/band to Sky.

I have a deal for £9.99 per month, which gets me unlimited b/band, line rental and anytime calls with a 12-month contract.

Are you SURE the £9.99 includes anytime calls? I ask because as a "Sky TV customer" they were prepared to offer me £9.99 for line rental and free broadband a few weeks ago, to move from PN BUT wouldn't include any calls package. I did press but no further offer so stayed with PN as I paid ALR to keep my legacy weekends and evenings package and can still use 18185 for daytime calls.:T

Yes £9.99 does include anytime calls.

I have also got Sky TV; including Sky sports. I am paying 50% off for my TV package with Sky but I will renew it before the end of the year as it will expire.

Before I contacted Sky, I phoned TalkTalk, who offered me unlimited b/band, TV with Skysports, anytime calls package and line rental for £43.70 per month.

I then phoned Sky who then gave me the £9.99 deal, which with my current TV package, means that I will be paying them £34.99 per month.

    HTHs.

Too late for me -if Sky had thrown in calls I might well have moved. As I've got a 18 month b/band deal I won't be looking again til 2018!

Because at the time there was a £150 mastercard and £50 cashback. Which brought the price down to less than £20 a month for fibre.
    12x£18.99 line rental
    12x£12.50 fibre
    £49 activation
    £7.95 P+P on the router
Minus the £200 mastercard and cashback.

Check your emails, I got one about a promotion of a special deal for the top package. £30.48 including line rental for 18 months. Phoned them up and the new deal has already started. I know the line rental is going up by £1 next month.

Essentially £7.50 off your monthly broadband cost for 18 months.

I was offered £9.99 line rental, last year, but Anytime calls were full price.

However, I ended up with half price line rental as an operator made a mistake with my account and a manager authorised the better deal, but still full price calls package.

I've never heard of free calls being offered, except for the inclusive weekend ones.
