Opened a YB Current account Direct recently. The terms state that they pay no interest on balances over 3k - does that mean that i will get the interest on 3k but nothing on the extra over 3k or do I have to keep the balance under 3k in order to get any interest. The notes don't make it clear.

the balance ABOVE £3k does not earn interest. The Balance UPTO £3K does earn interest.
If you have a total of £3,500 you get interest on £3,000 and no interest on £500.0 -
Yes, I thought that was the case. Thanks for you reply.0

I know this is slightly off-topic but you say you opened a Current Account Direct recently, when was this? As I was informed by a member of staff yesterday that this product is no longer offered.0

I opened the account on the last day available to get the £150 bonus. I think it was in April. As you say, the account is not available now.0
