Cats can come in a rage of different weights depending their breed. But, apart from weight - which can vary depending in under or over weight. I wonder instead I wonder what sort of variation with people's cats here - in terms of length!
So, how long is your cat from the shoulder blades (bottom of the back of the neck), to the base of the tail?
I haven't worked it out yet with a ruler of tape measure, but my cat - a calico - I can put a foolscap (A4) piece of paper between the two, whereas a cat that I met today that frequents a Sainsbury car park - I can spread my hand (little finger - to - thumb) between - incidentally this equals a Euro Millions form!
The difference is about three inches!
How long is yours?

One is 10" high, 18" long. The other 11" high, 19" long. (Excluding tail.) Wasn't easy measuring them, but that's what they roughly measure!cooeeeeeeeee :j :wave:0 -
You want me to start waving a tape measure or ruler around the Idiot Cat?
He's cat sized. Not British Blue or Maine Coon sized, not kitten or small cat sized. He can fit neatly into the inside of a standard stereo speaker casing, a backpack or a shoe box with some overspill (don't ask why I know these things - his online name might give you a bit of a clue, though) and, if he so desires, he can take up 2/3 of the width of a kingsize bed.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
No idea.... hmmmmm0

I know from her nose to tail tip is 1.07m, but no idea about neck to tail base.0

Just wandered casually up to ancient Maine coone with equally antique folding yardstick. He is 14 inches shoulder to base of tail.Norn Iron Club member 4730

Mine is three times the size of a double bed, easily.0
