Mines a 1-bed ground floor flat, double glazed, though poorly draught-proofed. All-electric on Economy7 with oil-filled panel heaters. Heating on in the occupied room at about 21 degrees when home. Out to work 7 to 7 weekdays.

Immersion heater on about every third night. 9 kW instant shower. Npower set payments at £108/month since about January so that would represent winter usage.

Hello, looking at the photo you have of the wall heaters, they look as though they are the same as i have in my flat. If so they are Creda Contour heaters http://www.credaheating.co.uk/product_details/ph2/index.htm

especially as it looks to have a blue oval logo (which credo use with there. if so, yes there are limited controls as standard, the dial to the left of the logo is a thermostat dial, the picture under the oval is a picture showing no handling clothes over it and under that is as small power on/off button and indicator lights showing when it is on. However where you see the space to the right of the logo, this is a covering panel, that can clip off an can then insert an extra device which allows a timer to be fitted (also from creda) - which is one of these:

    http://www.screwfix.com/p/creda-75770912-plug-in-timer-230-240v/50648

They are normal electric heating panels (so not storage) and are connectable via either hard wiring into the wall or a 3 pin plug can be added.

From memory i think there are two options so would not be able to advise which size you have (1kwh/2kwh ones)
