Wall mounted t.v.

I've had a 32 inch television wall mounted in my caravan. I bought Logik brackets suitable from 32-37 inches. Unfortunately about 2 inches of bracket shows beneath the television. No only that, but I think the 32 inch t.v. is too small, so I want to buy a 40 inch t.v. Does anyone know if the Logik brackets 32-37 will be OK for a 40 inch t.v.

Look at the specs for your bracket to see what maximum weight TV it can support. Then get a 40" TV under that weight limit. Assuming the bracket has compatible fitting points and the fixing in the caravan can take it, then you should be fine.

I've checked the brackets and they take up to 15 kg. The tv I want to buy is 7.8 kg. so that seems OK. How do I go about determining whether the fitting points are compatible?

    Open up tv

Match up holes on the bracket with holes on the TV.

The bracket will probably have a VESA compatible mount - something like VESA 100, where there are four bolt holes, all 100mm apart. Sizes (spacing) vary, but the holes are often in a square pattern. You need a TV with a VESA mount which matches the spacing of the holes on your bracket. The specs usually say what it has for wall bracket mounts. The screws off your existing TV may fit. If they don't, just watch the length of any you buy/use.

  • If your 32"-37" TV bracket will fit your 42" tv, it will depend on your 42" VESA and television weight. If your new one out of the bracket limit, that will not fit your new TV.
I also buy a Sunydeal WD34001 Bracket. It fit for 32"-47" with coupon code 6PW27LR6 two week ago. Cost me £10.98. This is very strong, easy to move and such a space saver.
