I see your sense of humour removal procedure worked :rotfl:

Not quite. Your response made me chuckle.

Ok it was midnight and I was on my soap box, ranting on behalf of a hardworking relation of mine who started a new contract and had to wait for 12 weeks before he got paid. He enquired about working tax credits and "other stuff" that you said tax is paid for and was not entitled due to earnings in the previous months.

Unfortunately a sense of humour doesn't pay the bills, they had to rely on his wife's part time earnings and an overdraft to get them through.

while the rest of the world is moving to a global economy
Aw, come on, look what they did to Greece. Italy's in trouble, the open door policy is killing the EU (and it's people), German banks looking for huge bailouts, even old Merkle looks like she's on her last legs, and the true rest of the world is queuing up to trade with the UK.
    collapsed pound
. . . the IMF in an about turn, after their forecast of doom and gloom, now say, "Britain's economy will grow faster than Germany's and France's"

I honestly think the EU in it's present form along with it's ambitions to be a super state can't last much longer. The bad news just keeps coming . . .

The bailouts were agreed on an all-party basis, as was the splitting of the good and bad debt of Northern Rock in 2010 (as the latter was done months prior to a General Election and such practice is always the convention and hence briefings were given to the 3 Parties' Treasury spokesmen by the Civil Service as you'll see in Adonis's book on the May 2015 Coalition negotiations).

Indeed Osborne proudly said that he and Darling agreed on this.

The taxpayer has already lost out on RBS and may do so again.

Nasqueron - I'm right wing, certainly not a Corbynista. Even those on the far right such as UKIP's Douglas Carswell MP, criticise GO's,
"Os-Brown economic failure" so it's certainly not just the far Left who criticise the near zero % interest rate, QI 'policy' of DC/GO over the past 6 years.

I'd say you're clearly a pro Euro liberal, but you'd probably take that as a compliment. Such people (Hezza/Clegg/Mandy) were, of course, wrong on the ERM, Euro, Referenda [AV & EU], so I'll take no lessons from them or yourself on your prediction that we'll be like Norway. "We'll be Great Britain", in the words of David Davis.

That argument failed in the Referendum. Get over it - its been over a month now and the petulant children have all gone home.

Glad you recognise that the rest of the World exists - that's our future, not a declining, unstable EU. The Danes, Dutch and French can be free to Leave next.

Well, as you believe that 52% of the UK are zombies, you're in a welcome club of the earnest, self-righteous such as Paddy. Those politicians won't be missed and nor will the MEPs and their staffers. It reminds me of the French & Germans last month telling us we must trigger Article 50 now. "We'll trigger it when we're ready, probably in December in order to leave on 01.01.19. If they don't like it - tough. What are they going to do, chuck us out?" [David Davis again]
Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
