Sealed unit replacement FENSA

A little googling has led me to believe that if I get some cloudy sealed double glazing units replaced, this just counts as a repair and doesn't require a FENSA certificate.
Is that correct?

yes again.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Who the hell would know what had been done, anyway?I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

Thanks for the Yesses (yesses looks wrong, as does yeses but I digress). I will let you know my thinking.
When the time comes to sell my house I may mention the recent 2016 investment in new sealed units throughout. This may lead to a solicitor's question about Fensa, and now I know that isn't required....0 -

Its very unlikely that failed sealed units would make any difference to the value of the property so its really not worth mentioning.
Its a bit like saying "I've just painted the living room walls", its irrelevant really.0 -
Fensa doesn't really matter . If your changing them all their is more thermally better units than standard clear so for you benifits it maybe worth it . If your changing the odd one might be worth checking because different units have different tints . Clear clear . Clear k . Argon . Planiblea . Planitherm. hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

This approach could come back and bite you. Your original post was taken as meaning perhaps a couple of misted units. Now you say "throughout". A switched on buyer, or surveyor, or solicitor would ask about the packers you set - these vary according to the windows - and getting the sealed units the right way around. If you had an invoice clearly detailing all this then fine, but if done on a DIY basis I would be very wary.
If you follow a DIY route then I suggest you say nothing!0
