"Abroad style" in the uk?

I am really in need of a seriously relaxing holiday. Unfortunately my husband works in a school so we can only go on holiday during the school holidays which means expensive and noisy children! I have been looking abroad next May half term for adult only all inclusive and my husband just laughed at the £2000 plus prices.
So I started looking at the uk. Does the uk do "abroad style" holidays? By this I mean adults only Nice room, food on tap, not needing to leave the hotel, just chilling around an (indoor) pool. The closest I have found is Warner but I think we are a bit too young and places like butlins and the centre parks which are surprisingly pricey and children. I have tried spa hotels buy May seems to be too far in the future and they seem like weekend breaks not a week.
Any suggestions please? I don't care where in the uk just need to power down for a while!

Holy Moley spar breaks start from £550 per person for 3 nights £930 per person for the wellbeing package.
No wonder lots of people go abroad.
I did a 4 night spa break in Reykjavik and blue lagoon ( the in water massage... just Wow) was not even that expensive. The Hotel Gellert in Budapest is an impressive spa hotel also again was a lot cheaper than the above prices for 3 nights including flights, meals, treatments etc etc.
I think the OP will struggle to find abroad style holidays in the UK, we just don't do that type of trip. Long weekends yes but week long I think you will struggle or be immensely bored.
Having said that if you fancy living on the wild side try the Norbreck Castle in Blackpool..they do All inclusive stays :rotfl:0 -
Are you talking £2000 each or as a total?
As a total for adults only that's not too bad especially if you want all inclusive too and it's the holidays.
At the moment the low cost airlines haven't released their flights for summer 17 so I would suggest maybe looking at your local airport and seeing where they fly too then try and find an all inclusive in that area. Hang fire until the cheap flights are released and then you may find its cheaper.
Alternatively consider somewhere that's not child friendly like santorini, mykonos, Croatia, cape verde. Families are welcome there but it's often more favoured by adults.Lea0 -

Adult only cruise will be within the budget for a week.
Despite having a daughter we have no interest in holidays where there are lots of children and we have no problem finding destinations. The obvious is a city break in a 4-5 star hotel. Lisbon, Oporto, Malaga, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville etc.
A few years ago we had a week in Cascais at spring bank. Scheduled flights for three were about £400 and the 4 star hotel was £55 a night.0 -
Why not broaden your scope by looking at hotels where both dinner and lunch are available rather than just AI?0

There are plenty of places, all over Europe, once you get away from the 'bucket & spade' destinations that aren't full of children.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I heard this place was nice, although you would have to go out or self cater for an evening meal. It looks relaxing. http://www.bluechipholidays.co.uk/cornwall/st-ives/una-aurum-55?arrival_date=2017-05-27&nights=7&adults=2&children=0&infants=0#tabs-reviewsSell £1500

We recently returned from a two week break in Pembrokeshire. rented a chapel by the coast, the silence was deafening, we had our own private beach overlooking a clear greenish ocean.
The only children we saw was our Son, it was the most relaxing holiday you could envisage and one of the best breaks we have ever had.

K-West doesn't have a huge pool
http://www.k-west.co.uk/gallery
but if you go for an exec room or suite they're huge rooms and suitable for lounging. Beds are enormous, biggest I've ever slept in. It's used a lot by the rock'n'roll touring crowd, it's fashionable, it gets a lot of mid-level celebrity guests if you like star-spotting. On quiet roads just off Shepherds Bush triangle. 3 minutes walk to the tube, maybe 5 minutes to the Westgate shopping mall if you like that kind of thing.
Smaller rooms, cheaper, less flashy spa, try the Dorsett also in Shepherds Bush. It's like going to an Asian hotel in London.0
