Help! My mobile was getting premium device withou me knowing!!

I was paying £3.75 each week for a premium mobile service I knew nothing about. It is a "50 Shades of Grey" premium mobile service. I called O2 and they gave me the number to call, so that they could stop it and refund me back my money. The company refunded me my money via paypal.
They did not explain to me how I got registered to their premium service. I still don't know what this 50Shades of Grey service is.
