I dont get the hate in this country, everything the big corporates do is legal - HMRC know about the loopholes yet they dont close them. Why is this?
Probably because they realise that said big corporates employ millions of people in this country, who in turn pay tax on their earnings. People in employment spend and the economy keeps moving. They trade overseas which brings foreign money in. Then there is VAT and corporation tax (admittedly, some company's are sneaky with this but again - KNOWN "loopholes")
I imagine, having done their sums, HMRC think it works better this way.0
