Morning everyone,
Haven't posted for a while but I have been reading.
Last day of term today and I am really ready for it, I spent yesterday at Alton Towers with 200 year 9 pupils and the younger staff took me on a lot of the big rides. To be fair I really enjoyed it!
Happy summer holidays to all of you and hugs to all who need them, i hope to post a bit more regularly in the summer.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Good morning everyone,
Busy day yesterday so didn't get much time on here, coupled with the internet outage too. Nothing new to report. FIFA and fajitas went down a treat and had a good laugh as always.
Going to put an extra hard shift in at work and then seeing the mrs tonight. Probably have a lazy one as I'm up early to help my step-bro move. Him and his other half split after a couple of years, so he's moving back in with us for the time being until he finds another place. Poor lad seems really cut up about it.
It's my birthday next Tuesday and so my GF is taking me out for dinner tomorrow for it. Going to a Thai place that we've both always commented on when walking past on Buchanan Street, Glasgow, called Chaophraya. Never been so looking forward to it.
Dumpling - Good luck with the energy supplier.
Redruby - Glad it's not just me then
Coxy - Fantastic news about your DH!!! Brilliant.
Lainey - Ah that's frustrating to hear about the new gaffer. Hope things improve.0 -

Where do you get your energy and can you bottle and sell me some?
I am browsing on here with a cup of tea and my feet up to reduce the swelling with no specific plan for the day. I plan to add tomato passata to the two portions of chicken pasta in the fridge and freeze them, make a late healthy breakfast, wash my hair and have cool shower, look out an outfit then tidy kitchen and maybe empty a couple of boxes.

I hope some compromise can be reached as it would be a shame for your daughter to give it up completely.

I've just donated a load of hubby's fleeces to a local homeless charity, in a heatwave!
It's not energy Elona, it's idiocy I think.

Afternoon, ((((((((((hugs))))))))) if you need one.
This will be short but sweet, visitors for tea and I need to get the tray ready, spread scones etc....
A dull morning cooler, the sun did come out briefly but now we have black looking clouds, Hope it does not rain before our friends come. They want to see the garden.

Afternoon all
It's been pretty much a sunny day here, though now clouded over a bit. Car less again, but OH came home at lunch and picked me up so we could have lunch out by the lake (a very un-OS Morrisons salad!).
OS wise - WM been on twice and all dried now on whirly, DW emptied. This afternoon I have made a dozen cupcakes for OH's daughter's birthday party tomorrow. We are taking her to a trampoline park with her brother and 3 friends.
Have a good day all.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *
