Direct Debit by Credit Card

I have a Tesco credit card, I use it to pay for everything, rent, petrol, groceries etc, I do this in order to gain club card points and make my money work for me a little.
I have recently bought a house, so have mortgage to pay now instead of rent. Mortgage must be paid by direct debit.
My question is....can I set up a direct debit from my credit card to pay my mortgage every month, so that I can still earn club card points?
Thanks in anticipation.

No you cannot.
A direct debit can only be set up from a bank current account.0
