Having been paying far too much to BT for my fibre broadband, inclusive calls and line rental (Over £60 for infinity 2), I have been negotiating with them but also looking elsewhere.

I'm down to 2 options:

1/ Stay with BT who are now offering me £10 for 52Mb (infinity 1), £6.50 inclusive calls and £18.99 line rental (12 month contract).

2 Jump ship to EE who are the same £10 for Fibre Broadband (only 38Mb), £6.50 inclusive calls and £17.99 line rental. (18 month contract).

EE also offer:
- 1500 minutes to mobiles in their inclusive calls
- extra 5Gb data onto my mobile contract (I have a ee mobile anyway).
- "possibility" of £70ish topcashback.

From BT I could probably wangle a Hub 6 for free / nearly free and their fibre is 52Mb as opposed to EEs 38Mb.

I've been happy with the service from BT but EE is a bit of an unknown quantity to me.

Would I notice 38Mb vs 52Mb (given I've been getting 0ver 70 Mb the last 18 months....) Mainly used for streaming / netflix and the like (2 teenagers in the house). Some downloading but time taken for that isnt really an issue.
I'm practically across the road from the BT cabinet (100m or so) so should get fullish speeds.

I am swinging towards EE but would appreciate your thoughts.....or just make the decision for me :-)

I would be paying line rental up front.

Cheers.

I moved from BT to EE.

    Very happy.

I thought Inclusive calls were £5

As you are a mobile customer you should get £3 discount

Thanks for the feedback about ee!

Inclusive calls are £6.50 (at the moment) and no sign of any £3 discount for being with ee already. That offer has probably expired.

Have made the move yesterday from Plusnet to EE fibre , well 15 working days to go B4 inst ?

Should exist Plusnet under their 30 days notice of price increase 1st sept.
Must admit 1st impressions of the EE online application was confusing tracked within hours with Top Cash Back for £52 not £73.50, still tcb are on the case checking.
Created my account online with EE and have established the free CALLER DISPLAY is showing, hope all goes well, will keep you informed.

    £73.50p now confirmed.
