Go Pro usage tips

Just wondering how you guys use your go pro regarding footage and memory cards.

Went on a trip few months ago and have footage stored on a memory card.. Going on holiday next month and don't wish to sift through last trips footage nor do I want to delete footage

How do you guys deal with this. Would a new memory card be best. New to go pro so please forgive my simple question.

Thanks

I copy the videos to my PC, clear the card and then use the camera again and repeat the process. You can't rely on micro sd cards to store your video as the card could fail out of the blue or get lost.

Thanks. Simple really. Not sure why I didn't think of that

As above, backed up onto the PC, then memory card full cleared ready to go again.
